Creating a Research Thread

Set up your first research project

To get started, ask a question or add your medical records from the main page.

Doing so will auto-create a thread that appears in the left navigation. Threads are how your research is organized. The thread selected is always highlighted in purple. To start a new thread, click Ask A Question.

The thread has a memory, and will reference the information you’ve provided and the prior research results as you continue to ask questions.

As you continue to ask questions, threads can get long. Luckily, there’s a table of contents built into every thread. Simply click on the List icon in the question bar. The table of contents will open and show every question within the thread.

📽 HelpKit Note: Self-uploaded videos are supported on the HelpKit Professional plan. Please upgrade or use a third party video provider such as Youtube, Wistia or Vimeo.

Renaming Threads

Threads are automatically named using the first question you ask. You can rename the thread by hovering over it in the left navigation and renaming it.
