Ask a Question – Incitefulmed

Ask a Question works similarly to how you might use Google or ChatGPT, but with answers grounded in science. You can ask the tool any medical question and get a response backed by peer-reviewed research you can trust, with transparent sourcing. While we are often compared to other AI chat bots, we work differently. We do not use large language models (LLMs) for research or fact-based answers.

Answers

Asking a question generates an answer that is added to a thread in the left navigation panel.

Every answer includes full citations and excerpts from the original literature.

Clicking on a citation opens a right panel that shows the exact excerpt referenced and links to the original source

Next Steps

Each answer includes suggested Next Steps at the end of the report. Next steps are contextual and recommended based on the conversation in the thread. Some are additional research questions, others are action items, like drafting questions for upcoming appointments. Click any item to advance. You can also ask your own question anytime using the search bar at the bottom of the page.
